Re: My New Poetry Book
Have you ever felt a grudge so strong
It left a cinder in your soul?
Have you ever had a grudge so strong
You knew suicide would be great?
Have you ever felt a grudge so strong
But couldn't run away from it?
I've felt a grudge that strong
I couldn't run from it
But I wanted to
I've felt a grudge that strong
I wasn't angry at that person
Just hateful and mean
Have you ever felt a grudge so strong
Only to form a new one?
Have you ever felt a grudge so strong
It felt like a thousand bee-stings?
I have.
Betrayal
Loathing
Fraud
Lies
Depression
Disappearance
Death
All part of life
All most of life
All of life
It left a cinder in your soul?
Have you ever had a grudge so strong
You knew suicide would be great?
Have you ever felt a grudge so strong
But couldn't run away from it?
I've felt a grudge that strong
I couldn't run from it
But I wanted to
I've felt a grudge that strong
I wasn't angry at that person

Are you gonna eat me now?
Are you gonna eat me now?
Smear my guts all over the walls?
Are you gonna eat me now?
Turn my eyes into bouncy balls?
Are you gonna eat me now?
And turn me into human-pot-pie?
Are you gonna eat me now?
Throw my head into the sky?
Are you gonna eat me now?
Roast my toes for s'mores?
Are you gonna eat me now?
Or make me do your chores?
Are you gonna eat me now?
Use my eyelashes as your own?
Are you gonna eat me now?
And munch me to the bone?
Are you gonna eat me now?
Feed my nails to the fishes?
Are you gonna eat me now?
Use my blood to wash the dishes?
Are you gonna eat me now?
Make my hair a wig?
Are you gonna eat me now?
I'm really not that big.
I'd scarcely make a filling meal
And my blood ain't all that clean
My bones are weak
My hair is thin
And my muscles aren't very sleek.
My nails are dirty
My face is diseased
Half my fingers are gone
My leg is broken
My throat is so sore
I can't even sing a song
Do you still plan to eat me?
Despite my awful state?
Do you still plan to eat me?
I hope I won't be ate
Smear my guts all over the walls?
Are you gonna eat me now?
Turn my eyes into bouncy balls?
Are you gonna eat me now?
And turn me into human-pot-pie?
Are you gonna eat me now?
Throw my head into the sky?
Are you gonna eat me now?
Roast my toes for s'mores?
Are you gonna eat me now?

Are you gonna eat me now?

Re: My New Poetry Book
The farmer sprinkled wheat seeds
Into the wide field
He wasn't sure why he was doing this
The wheat wouldn't live
It would rot
A month passed
Rain fell
And the wheat grew
Another month passed
Sun shone
The wheat grew
Seasons passed
The wheat was perfect
But the farmer didn't come
Weeks passed
The wheat had passed its prime
But the farmer didn't come
Days passed
The wheat began to rot
But the farmer didn't come
A week passed
The wheat was dead
The farmer was dead
This poem is about wasted lives
Into the wide field
He wasn't sure why he was doing this
The wheat wouldn't live
It would rot
A month passed
Rain fell
And the wheat grew
Another month passed
Sun shone
The wheat grew
Seasons passed
The wheat was perfect
But the farmer didn't come
Weeks passed
The wheat had passed its prime
But the farmer didn't come
Days passed
The wheat began to rot
But the farmer didn't come
A week passed
The wheat was dead
The farmer was dead
This poem is about wasted lives

What if I said I was Sorry?
What if I said I was sorry?
Would that mean anything to you?
What if I said I was sorry?
Would you forgive me?
What if I said I was sorry?
Would it change anything?
What if I said I was sorry?
Would you like me?
What if I said I was sorry?
Would you still hate me?
What if I said I was sorry?
Would you be my friend?
Would that mean anything to you?
What if I said I was sorry?
Would you forgive me?
What if I said I was sorry?
Would it change anything?
What if I said I was sorry?
Would you like me?
What if I said I was sorry?
Would you still hate me?
What if I said I was sorry?
Would you be my friend?

Have you ever cried yourself to sleep?
Have you ever cried yourself to sleep?
Has life never been good enough to keep?
Have you ever felt true loss?
Have you ever had bad apple sauce?
Have you ever wept all through the night?
Have you ever, ever felt true fright?
Have you ever had a heart attack?
Have you ever lived inside a shack?
Have you ever lost your family and friends?
Has your life been through twists and bends?
Has your heart broken multiple times?
Have you ever less than two dimes?
Have you ever cried yourself to sleep?
Do you ever smile while you weep?
Has your life shattered from a single blow?
Has time ever dragged . . . so, so slow?

I'm big, you're small
You're short, I'm tall
I'm good, you're not
I never said I was humble
You're short, I'm tall
I'm good, you're not
I never said I was humble

I'm Dyin' Inside
I'm dyin' inside
Smiling on the outside
I'm dyin' inside
I'm cryin' inside
I'm dyin'!
Smiling on the outside
I'm dyin' inside
I'm cryin' inside
I'm dyin'!

Re: My New Poetry Book
Woke up at seven
Fixed me a sweet lunch
Got my bag over my shoulder
Stood there, waiting for the bus
When I remember it was Saturday
Sweet, savory Saturday
The end of the week and the end of the day
Sweet, savory Saturday
Waited for an hour
Glancin' at my watch
Anxiety growin'
Stomach a'growlin'
When I remembered it was Saturday
Sweet, savory Saturday
The end of the week and the end of the day
Sweet, savory Saturday
Fixed me a sweet lunch
Got my bag over my shoulder
Stood there, waiting for the bus
When I remember it was Saturday
Sweet, savory Saturday
The end of the week and the end of the day
Sweet, savory Saturday
Waited for an hour
Glancin' at my watch
Anxiety growin'
Stomach a'growlin'
When I remembered it was Saturday
Sweet, savory Saturday
The end of the week and the end of the day
Sweet, savory Saturday
