She sighs
At the rusted frame

In it she sees her reflection

A boy appears
On the other side of the glass
And by the way he looks at her
She can tell he thinks she is
He puts up his hand,
Places it on the glass
And she does the same
They look longingly at each other
For a long while
But they can never be together
Never ever









This is based on the story of Romeo and Juliet. I know they weren't separated by a glass window, but they were kept apart in a way. This has also happened to me, I once loved a girl. She was beautiful. In the end she was killed. But still she lives on in my heart and in my dreams.
